Why It Works

JoJo’s isn’t your average anime; it’s a masterclass in storytelling that spans generations. Each season introduces new characters and conflicts, but the underlying themes of family, friendship, and destiny remain consistent, pulling you deeper into its bizarre universe. The character designs? Legendary. The absurd battles? Nail-bitingly tense. Plus, it has that uncanny ability to go from serious to hilariously over-the-top in seconds—who doesn’t love a bit of camp with their action?

But here’s a question for you: how many shows can boast both epic fights and meme-worthy moments? This series perfectly straddles that line, making it an essential watch, even if you think you’re not into anime.

The Part That Doesn't

Of course, no show is perfect, and JoJo’s can sometimes feel a bit like it’s trying too hard to be bizarre. Some plot points and character arcs can feel disjointed or overly convoluted, leaving you wondering if you missed something crucial. But hey, who doesn’t love a good puzzle? Just be prepared to roll with the weirdness—it’s part of the charm.

Should You Watch It?
